Falcon chair by Sigurd Ressel for Vatne Mobler, Norway C 1970

A superb example of this very under rated classic, it is very stylish, has an innovative 'hammock' design, and is very comfortable.
The Chrome framed model is reported to have ceased production in 1973 due to high manufacturing cost. This one has beautifully patinated brown leather, and the Chrome frame is in great condition.

Steen Ostergaard 'Meteor' chair and stool for Cado

We have just bought this very scarce, and very cool chair and stool, so it is shown here as we have acquired it, it will now be going for restoration, and a recover !This is one of the most Iconic pieces from the 70's Space age design era, and in fact one was used on the set of Star Treks 2 and 3!
Ours can be bought as it is, for a short time, before restoration commences, or as a finished item, our intention is to restore it sympathetically, a clean and polish, rather than a respray, and recovered in Kvadrat fabric, buti f you wanted it in a colour of your choice, and completely as new, this can be arranged at a price.

Original Joe Colombo Model No.4801 chair in white Plywood 1963

A very nice original, early example of this very sought after design Icon. This chair was designed in 1963/4 for Kartell, and being number 55 of the limited run is one of the very first.
Made from 3 interlocking plywood pieces , this piece marks the end of the wooden era for Joe, before embarking mostly on designs intended to be produced in Plastic.
If you are a serious collector, or just a fan of the late great Mr. Colombo, then this is the one for you!

Bruno Mathsson model 36 lounge chair in leather

Very rare early, original and untouched leather model 36 long lounge chair by Bruno Mathsson for Karl Mathsson. Designed in 1933-36, this chair/chaise normally comes in interwoven canvas webbing, but this one retains it's original buttoned dark oxblood leather cover.
This is without doubt one of the most comfortable of all mid-century pieces, it makes sitting on a Corbusier chaise feel like a bed of nails !!!

Drop-Flap writing table/Desk by Arne Vodder for Sibast

Superb multi functional table desk, designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast, and with a brass label and also stamped 51, which I am sure is the year of production, making this a very early example as it was designed in 1951.The table can be used without the drawers, which have an open bookshelf to the back, and themselves slide out altogether, as a dining table, or with the drawers in for a large desk.

Tulip Chair by Laverne

Rare pair of Tulip or Petal Chairs by Irwin and Estelle Laverne for Laverne International. These two are in very good condition, no cracks or holes, some small discolouration, as you would expect after 40+ years, but it certainly doesn't distract from their beauty. Table seen in 2001 Space Odysee

We have been asked many times for the table seen in the reception of the space station in the movie 2001 Space Odysee, to go with the original Djinn furniture of Olivier Mourgue, and after a lot of research we have discovered it was produced only for the movie, so we have had our designers study as much footage of the movie, and also stills, so that we have been able to produce a table as close to the one in the movie as possible, and here it is !
